Hello everyone,
It’s been almost a year since the server has been out, we’re thankful for everyone that has shown love to our community and that always had faith in our server. Everything that we have accomplished has been a blessing and we’ll never take any of it for granted. There’s been a journey since we’ve released and we only plan on expanding our community and making the server as a whole better for everyone. This summer has been great for everyone that plays the server, one of the most successful summers we’ve ever had. There’s so many milestones that we have overcome but there are only more that we plan on reaching. We’d like to give a special thanks to our staff team, testers all the way to our admins, especially those that have been here through the ups & downs but never gave up on us.
There’s a few things of the community interest that we’ve taken into consideration, added them into the server as well as other activities and events. Now you guys, probably want us to get into the nitty-gritty part of this update. The next update that we're working on behind the scenes contains the following;
- Player Kills — We’ve been in the mode of using ‘Character Kills’ as a thing in the server and it’s positives and negatives but now we’ve heard and are going to give it another go around. With the upcoming change, you’ll now be required to have a $6,500 amount of money in order to keep your character living. Each player kill the value will increase by that value, so for an example; if you have one death, the next death cost will be $13,000. Remember you cannot remember the last fifteen minutes that lead up to your death, cannot return for that time period and you may not slide on the faction unless you're re-introduced to the beef (follow the New Life Rule).
ᅠᅠᅠᅠᅠᅠᅠᅠ - Activities — Now we know you guys need and WANT more things to keep it fresh and we have heard you guys. But a few bumps were placed in the road concerning the activities we have in store for the community. Some things were added to keep it fresh but we have more! With that being said, the activities such as the Casino & Skydiving, etc. Will be added later in this new update but don't worry, we'll keep you updated! Thanks for understanding.
ᅠᅠᅠᅠᅠᅠᅠᅠ - Vehicles — Now this part a lot of you have been waiting for and we know your money has been sitting there and you’re tired of people wanting you to pay the price of 4 apartment buildings to receive one import! In this update the dealership has been restocked at a limited quantity so that way the people who have missed out in the past on purchasing an imported vehicle, now have the chance to go ahead and purchase one with no problem. Do not forget there’s a ‘limited quantity’ on the vehicles that are in the dealership, but there’s also going to be more vehicles placed inside of the dealership as well so there’s room for the ‘old school’ & the ‘new school’ fleet of imports! On top of that, get ready to hear this one.
We’re introducing a script along the vehicle side, a script that involves vehicle damage. Now a lot of people may get into a heated chase whether it’s from the police or from maybe an enemy; no longer will a person be able to run into multiple objects and get away with it. This update we’ve added a feature that deals with vehicle damage more than before. People who drive like they’re at the Monster Jam or even drive like they’re Dukes of Hazzard, will now pay for the consequences especially if you don’t like to roleplay the scenarios correctly. Along with a little dazzle of ‘Engine Swaps’ becoming a thing in this little Content Update Now there is a NEW FLEET of Vehicles behind added to the PDM, but most cars that are highly wanted by demand, etc. Will be ‘Auctioned’ off by the Team. ᅠᅠᅠᅠ - Maps — Now, Cayo Perico was a wonderful Island in the beginning a few people got to enjoy but not everyone got to enjoy the Cayo Perico Island like a few did. With this update, we’ve made the move to add the Carcola Bora Bora Island made by our own YBN Milos. Want to take a trip to this Island? We’ll have everything shortly available on how you can book your ticket and enjoy this Bora Bora like Island by taking a single Airplane Ride!
ᅠᅠᅠᅠ - Money Motives — Now a lot of you 've heard you guys talk about how much you guys wanted more ways to make money, especially if working a job is not for a lot of you guys on the server. Wait no more, this content update will bring in a few new features/ways for you guys to make a couple bucks down the road and not have to struggle no more concerning making money on the server. A lot of you may have never heard of this or have heard of this.. but we’re trying something and introducing a fun thing that a lot of people in the community will enjoy, and it’s called ‘Co-op’ jobs. Co-op jobs will be jobs/activities that you’ll be able to complete with other people that also play the server. For example, maybe you & your friend roleplay working at the same job or have the same skill or maybe even want to complete the job and make money together instead of alone! Make sure to check out the co-op jobs at City Hall for more information regarding those new jobs, and have fun!
ᅠᅠᅠᅠ - Events — We know a lot of events have been all over the place and we’re going to be putting that back into full gear. The Events team will be returning and are looking for candidates that are willing to be a part of the Events Team. If you’re willing to join the Events team make sure to get in contact with @MannaStyles about the chance to join the Events team. As your job you will be able to help create/brainstorm different events and even find things and research things to help bring those Events with-in the server to life, apart from Player Ran Events.
ᅠᅠᅠᅠ - Pure Mode — Now, let’s get to this part of the update and the main part people dislike, Pure Mode. Pure mode is a mode that’s enabled to stop and prevent things like rapid fire exploits, ammo counter exploits, etc. Things like sound packs, graphic mods, etc. You can still use but Pure Mode being enabled will disable a lot of futures. Most mods you have in your main Grand Theft Auto Game will cause you to not gain access to the server due to Pure Mode being enabled for the simple fact that most mods, and models can cause exploits against other players on the server. Don’t worry, for those who want custom tattoos and things of that sort will be able to still use and apply those mods but there’s a way to do them and will/is explained.
ᅠᅠᅠᅠ - Rules of Engagement — Rules of Engagement has received change(s) that you can follow up with-in the server community Discord which was released by Faction Management.
Before we move on to our staff update, which includes new faces and promotions. The following individuals have been added to the staff team, and we are looking forward to their contributions. Join us in welcoming new faces to the Tester Team and some new faces to the Admin Team;
