Hello everyone,
Where do we begin? To begin this announcement, it has been two years since we started operating on the third version of the server. As a community, we have experienced both enjoyable and challenging times together. Version 3 holds many cherished memories, but now is the time to continue moving forward as we have been doing all along and explore how we can make it even better in the future.
As Version 3 was drawing to a close, we noticed numerous events occurring and reached a point where the server was at a standstill. We saw this as the perfect opportunity to conclude Version 3 and progress with our plans. Version 4 has been a topic of discussion for months prior to our recent transition to the new server version. The reason for transitioning to version 4 at this time is because several server-related aspects were outdated, some by at least two years. We needed to concentrate on updating everything, including the server, scripts, and more.
The focus of the server moving forward is centered around roleplay. Many players felt that the server had primarily focused on faction roleplay in the past, but this is no longer the case. We understand that this has been reiterated multiple times, and now we are committed to following through on our word. With the arrival of Version 4, there is no single main focus. Our goal is to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to develop a storyline for others to engage with and that each individual has a compelling story to share through their character. In other words, our focus is not limited to one specific aspect. Whether it's businesses, civilian roleplay, or the renowned faction roleplay, our aim is to ensure that every side is having fun and enjoying the roleplay experience they either present or receive throughout the server. Our plan is to guarantee that everyone has a great time and can partake in the roleplay experience that they have been longing for.
During Version 3 of the server, we noticed that the economy had been severely disrupted. Items were being sold at exorbitant prices, making it difficult for new players to keep up. The economy was in a state of disarray. However, for Version 4 of the server, we have taken measures to ensure that prices are set in line with the established economy. We have adjusted vehicle prices, housing costs, and even the prices of items in the store. Our goal is to prevent a repeat of the economic issues that arose towards the end of Version 3.
As we conclude this announcement, there are several things you can expect moving forward. Many outdated scripts that have been causing issues for months have been properly updated and fixed. There will be significantly fewer bugs compared to Version 3. Furthermore, we are excited to inform you that numerous features that a large portion of the community has been anticipating have been added.
We sincerely appreciate your patience during this period of downtime, and we understand that you have missed us. We are grateful for each and every one of you who have remained loyal to our server through both the highs and lows. We hope you have fun and continue to enjoy your experience with us. We are honored that you have chosen us as your server. As we progress, let's continue to have fun, grow, and learn together on this journey. More additions will be made to the server in the coming days and weeks.
