Hello everyone,
It's been six months since the last time we had addressed a bunch of updates and things to the public and the community. We've been growing over the past months, and we're still a strong community holding on together and growing to become better as the days go on. We want to come here to let you guys know what we've been working on for the update that's about to be in your guy's hands quicker than you'll know it, and we know you all have been eager to play the server, and want the update to drop. But some things came up in the process, and we know that we said seventy-two hours. It doesn't excuse the problems we encountered during the downtime, and we're trying to assure you guys have a good roleplay experience and enjoy it. Rest assured, the change log in this update will speak for itself on why the extended downtime, and it won't be three months.
With the recent downtime, we have taken the time to review the overall health of the server. While we love new faces and individuals creating their own stories, we would like to remind each individual that the server is intended to create and demonstrate a high level of roleplay and unique roleplay. In every update, we have to reiterate common knowledge topics to you guys. For instance, changing the name of your character is not enough, and you must try to diversify your roleplay. While things have got better, there are a few of you who still tend to carbon copy your characters. Moving forward, we would like to see a culture shift in the community, with more means for roleplay introduced in this coming update. We hope you all will take this opportunity to try something new, it’s easy doing what you know, but that causes your roleplay to dry out and become repetitive. We urge you to switch things up and try something different.
Please make sure you'll always follow the rules even though most of us aren't perfect and learning, we still expect everyone to abide by the rules, and keep the community together and how we all imagine it to be, a place where you can bring your roleplay fantasies to life. Without further ado, let’s dive into what’s been worked on and added to the update (peep the changelog later to see all the features).
- Mapping & Environment — We know the community has a love/hate relationship when it comes to Mapping & Environment modifications. We’ve heard about your suggestions about certain Environment modifications that would cause issues and should be removed and we’ve listened and granted your wish. A lot of the mappings you may know have been removed to help reduce lag in areas where they were located. Now, we did add in a new environment located on the southside most of you may know. There’s a Pizza Stack, Binco, Barbershop, and more Environments are located around the map of Los Santos, feel free to check them out in game!
ᅠᅠᅠᅠ - Clothing Pack — This has been a concern and request from you guys. We hear you, and again we’ve come together and threw a pack together for you guys both for our male & female players that are a part of the community. We know you all have gotten tired of the old threads wearing the same outfits over and over, and everyone sharing the same Shiesty Mask, but thanks to our designing team for pitching in and putting together a clothing pack. Over two hundred new clothes have been added for male and female.
ᅠᅠᅠᅠ - Activities — Let’s get into the things you guys love the most & that’s the activities.. right? Now, we’ve added a few more activities to keep things refreshing for you guys for when you just wanna have a good time, maybe even throw a party or even just have a little get together with some friends, co-workers, or even families on a birthday. We heard you guys and we’ve listened. Most activities you guys have experienced, for example we know some of you have experienced pool but let me give you guys a look at all we have because most of them you guys have not found them yet. We have a new bowling system that was implemented & yes, people around you can see you bowl. Along with beer-pong for them wild parties, or maybe you even wanna take a jetski out on the water? Maybe you want to have a night out with the guys, but you come across a pool table and get some money to throw down for a little bet, then so be it. There’s multiple activities located across the Los Santos area that will keep your parties and get togethers refreshed throughout this new update.
ᅠᅠᅠᅠ - Housing — Ahhh the part you all might enjoy, housing. Remember how when you went to get your house, your interior was set to a certain interior and you might not have liked it, now you have to wait to get your interior changed? Well worry no more. Our new housing system now allows you to have the ability to select your own shell of choice upon the purchase of your new residence. The choice of the shell/interior for your house now relies on your own decision, and no one else. Also, entering the house while it’s unlocked is now a thing similar to before. There’s no need to be forced to knock on an unlocked door because now the house will be accessible while it’s unlocked rather than sitting there making a beat on the front door.
ᅠᅠᅠᅠ - Pets — Pets! Pets were a thing that were a part of the server back in the early versions of the server, and along the way the Pet system was flawed in so many ways, but don’t worry about having issues with that no more. In the newest update you’ll be able to experience the new and improved Pet System that has been implemented. In the new system you’ll need to maintain and manage the pet as if it was one of your own pets in real life. You’ll have to keep up with the pet, feed it, take care of it and make sure the pet is doing what it needs to do to keep going.
ᅠᅠᅠᅠ - Jobs — Now, down to the last part of it all, Jobs. Now we know about the downtime of the server for the new update, we’ve heard that people were coming with complaints about the jobs being broken. Worry no more, jobs have been fixed, so there should be no more complaints about them being broken. You can all go back to getting your money how you were and making sure that your pockets are at where they need to be. Courier, Gardener and the other outstanding jobs that were broken have been fixed and optimized, so now you can work in peace with no interruptions or errors.
