With version three almost complete we as management thought it would be time to let you all know that we have decided to move over to a new forum and discord for a few reasons. Firstly, when making this decision, we wanted the server to have a fresh look, a new start bringing over the best from version two while adding a variety of rule changes and elements that will increase the seriousness of the server and the longevity of creativity. When we decided to make these changes, the main question we asked ourselves was, “When did we have the most fun on the server?” Once we broke down that question, everything else fell in place.
With the new Forums and Discord, our purpose was to remove the unnecessary accounts and bot accounts that were taking up space. Another reason why we’re transitioning to the forum and discord is to change the way we operate about the server. It will no longer be accessible to everyone; we want only the best, only those with the purpose of creating and participating in serious top-tier roleplay. Our main reasoning behind doing this was we wanted a fresh start. While we promote freedom of choice, we want those who actively choose to be a part of what we’re doing here to be recognized. As mentioned earlier, version 3 is a whole new ball game, and only those who deserve it will be a part of it.
By creating a new forum, we separated ourselves from the negatives of our past while bringing forward the best of what we have created; here at Los Scandalous. The new forums help clean up the unnecessary mass commenting on reports, bans, and other unnecessary remarks. The new forums will also make dealing with player-to-player issues and communication much easier, server-based requests such as business licensing, weapon licensing, bar exams, and applying for specific job licenses smoother. Our sole purpose in everything we’ve done has always been to give our community the highest level of role play possible while also being creative and innovative on FiveM. We aren’t trying to be anyone else, we're in our own lane, and we hope you all can sit back and enjoy the ride.
As the drop of version three approaches, there are things we need from you guys as a community. If you’re excited and ready to commit to roleplaying again, please, before signing up for the new forums, assure that the email used on your old forum account is the same as your new forum email, also be sure to read the rules and be certain you understand clearly what we expect of you as a community. Our reasoning behind all these changes was we wanted to promote the quality of roleplay before anything else. The better your roleplay, the better your image in the community, and the way you interact with your fellow players, the higher your priority will be. Once again we as management want to thank those of you who have stuck with us in anticipation of Version 3.0.
We are very excited to show you all how we plan on taking roleplay back to the previous state it was and improve it overall.
Transition
Those of you who have already been accepted into the server just need to follow the steps to joining the new forums and the discord, once complete your whitelist will transfer over. For those of you who have paid for applications but have yet to be accepted you can still apply within the timeframe for applications. Moving forward applications will be open every 3 months accepting a maximum of 50 applicants. Our purpose in this change was to decrease the amount of access to the server. We felt that instead of it being open to the masses, exclusivity would make those roleplaying and those attempting to get in more aware of how their roleplay affects those around them.- Your e-mail must match with the account you just signed up to the forum with otherwise it will result in denial.
- You have two weeks from today to transfer your stuff over, if you don't transfer your stuff over then you will need to re-apply and go through the process.
- You can only submit one transfer request every 24 hours, do not spam them and don't submit more than one transfer request. They'll be handled within 72 hours.
- Don't put any false information on your transfer request otherwise it will result in being denied.
- If you receive an error viewing the form, please make sure you connect your Discord.
After one month, the old forum will be archived and deleted permanently.
